Kara started as a wedding photographer and spent six years in that role before planning and coordination became a formal part of what she offers. It was not a career change — it was a natural extension of what was already happening on shoot days.
During those years of photographing weddings, she was already stepping into the gaps. Catching a timeline that had slipped, managing the moment when a vendor arrived late, quietly solving the things that couples never knew were about to become problems. When clients started asking for that support independently, she made it official.

Kara works from experience — she understands how a photographer moves through the day and what they need from a timeline, how a celebrant structures the ceremony, how a venue will actually use its space versus how it reads on paper.
That knowledge does not replace good planning. It makes the planning harder to rattle when things do not go to plan — which, on a wedding day, they sometimes do not.

What is Day-of Coordination?
Wedding day management with thoughtful preparation beforehand. KLBK reviews your plans, confirms key details, communicates with suppliers, supports setup, and keeps the day moving calmly.
When should we book a coordinator?
As soon as you know you want support. Many couples book months ahead to protect their date, especially for 2026 and 2027 weddings.
Do you only help on the wedding day?
No. Even day-of coordination includes planning preparation. Partial and full planning support can begin much earlier.
Can we book planning and photography or videography together?
Yes. The consultation can explore how services work together comfortably.
Do you travel?
Yes. KLBK supports weddings across NSW including Tamworth, Hunter Valley, Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and regional areas.
