FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about wedding planning, coordination, photography, videography, travel, and what happens after you enquire.

Booking & process

How it all works.

How do we secure our date?

Once you have had your consultation and chosen a package, your date is secured with a signed agreement and deposit. Until both are received, the date remains available to other couples.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Full payment details and the payment schedule will be outlined in your agreement.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you know you want support. Popular dates in Tamworth, Hunter Valley, and across NSW fill quickly, especially for 2026 and 2027 weddings. Enquiring early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred date.

Can we book more than one service together?

Yes. Photography, videography, content creation, and planning can all be combined. The consultation is a great time to talk through how the services can work together on your day.

Do you travel?

Yes. KLBK supports weddings across NSW, including Tamworth, Hunter Valley, Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, rural and regional weddings, and destination weddings across the state. Travel details are discussed at enquiry.

What if we need to change our date?

Life happens. If your date changes, get in touch as early as possible and we will work through the options together based on availability.

Photography

Your photos and gallery.

How long until we receive our photos?

Edited galleries are typically delivered within 4 to 6 weeks of your wedding day. Exact turnaround times are confirmed in your agreement.

How many photos will we receive?

The number of images varies based on your coverage hours and the flow of the day. Most full-day weddings receive several hundred edited images. A guide will be included in your package details.

Can we request specific shots?

Absolutely. A pre-wedding questionnaire covers any must-have shots, key family groupings, and moments that matter most to you. This helps make sure nothing important is missed on the day.

How are the photos delivered?

Your edited gallery is delivered via an online gallery link. From there you can download, share, and order prints directly.

Do you shoot in a particular style?

The approach is natural, emotional, and documentary-led with gentle direction for portraits. The focus is on real moments as much as posed ones — the looks, the laughs, and everything in between.

Videography

Your wedding film.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Wedding films are typically delivered within 8 to 12 weeks of your wedding day. Exact turnaround times are confirmed in your agreement.

How long is the highlight film?

Highlight films are generally between 3 and 6 minutes, capturing the movement, atmosphere, and key moments of the day. Full ceremony and speech edits are available as add-ons.

Can we choose the music for our film?

Yes. Music preferences are discussed as part of your pre-wedding planning. Licensed music options will be presented for you to choose from.

How is the film delivered?

Your film is delivered via an online link for downloading and sharing. File formats suitable for social media and long-term storage are included.

Wedding planning

Coordination and support.

What is Day-of Coordination?

It is wedding day management with thoughtful preparation beforehand. KLBK reviews your plans, confirms key details, communicates with suppliers, supports setup, and keeps the day moving calmly.

Do you only help on the wedding day?

No. Even day-of coordination includes planning preparation before the wedding. Partial and full planning support can begin much earlier in the process.

When should we book a coordinator?

As soon as you know you want support. Many couples book months ahead to protect their date and allow time to prepare properly.

What happens after the consultation?

You receive recommended package options based on your wedding plans, support needs, and the way you want the lead-up and wedding day to feel.

What if something goes wrong on the day?

That is exactly what coordination is for. Kara carries an emergency kit and handles any issues behind the scenes so you never need to know about them. The goal is a calm day for you, no matter what.
