When Should You Book Your Wedding Coordinator?
One of the most common questions we get is simply: when should I actually book this?
Day-of Coordination — book 1 to 3 months out
Because DOC starts around 4 weeks before the wedding, you can technically book relatively close to the date — but earlier is safer, especially during peak wedding season when availability fills up.
Partial Planning — book 6 to 9 months out
Since Partial Planning starts around 6 months before the wedding, booking with that runway gives enough time to properly finish sourcing vendors and nail the details without feeling rushed.
Full Wedding Planning — book as early as possible
Full planning benefits most from lead time — ideally 9 to 18 months out. The earlier you start, the more choice you have with vendors and venues, and the more the budget can be built thoughtfully rather than reactively.
The general rule
